She is currently a missionary in Sweden and home in the US for the summer. After not feeling well with flu-like symptoms for for several days, she went to the doctor. They were surprised to discover that her appendix had ruptured about a week earlier. They did an extensive surgery to remove it and some of her small intestines and to clean out her body from infection.
