I was blessed this year to spend two weeks with my family in Chicago for Christmas.

We took a great photo on Christmas day so I thought I’d share it with all of you.

Mom, Me, Matt, Phil & Dad – Christmas Day 2006

As always, thanks for all of your support and prayers.  I really appreciate those of you who sent Christmas cards to my home in Georgia.  I didn’t expect that so it was a really nice surprise!

After three months of traveling (Chicago, India and Mexico), it is good to be settled in one place again for a while.  January 21-26, I will have 29 students here in Georgia to train before they head out to Swaziland and India (half to each location) for three months.  Please pray for
good weather as they will be staying in a cabin on AIM’s property and it is still pretty cold here.  Pray also for
good training
sessions and
team unity.  I have been working with these guys since August and am really looking forward to meeting them and getting to know them in person before they go out.

  1. Hanna,
I am requesting prayer for my & Scott’s upcoming trip to Kazakhstan. I will be flying out of Chicago on Feb. 3 and returning Feb. 17. Because there is a couple from Harvest Bible Church going with me for the first time and they made reservations for the 3rd, I felt I should too. However, I am conserned about the Chicago weather on the 3rd. We are flying into NY to catch an international flight to Frankfort. Pray that all connections willbe made. We also have a list of places we will visit. Several are difficult teens, rehab for drug and alcohol, orphages and babyhouses.
    Thanks, Joan
