I’ve been home for a more than a week now, but I wanted to share a few more England photos with you.  On Sunday evening, we were able to visit with our good friends Alan and Henry along with AIM base leaders Josh and Shannon and three of the current team’s participants: Krista, Drew and Stephanie.  This enjoyable visit took place at a local Pizza Hut.

On Monday, I spent a good bit of the day hanging out with my best friend Shannon.  She and her husband are currently AIM’s staff in England.  She’s doing awesome, and we had a great time together!

On Monday, I was also able to visit with the Williams family.  You will remember Dean and Hanna from the pictures in my Zoo Blog in August.  They too are doing well.  One of the FYM participants is teaching Dean to play the guitar so that he can help lead worship for the youth at his church on Youth Sunday.  Also, Hanna has been reading the Bible I gave her last spring, and John 3:16 seems to be one of her favorite verses.

Overall, our visit went really well.  It was great to check in with people and see how they are doing and to visit with good friends.  Also, the two girls that went with me (Brenda and Amanda) are both thinking about spending a longer period of time in England.  I love seeing the Lord working in their lives and will be praying with them about God’s timing in the matter.  As always, thanks for your prayers and support!!

  1. Hanna, thanks for sharing the pics! Seeing Josh and (especially) Shannon in them was almost like being there!!!!!!! YEAAAAA!!!! Did she get her hair cut or are my deceiving me?

  2. Good to hear from you.

Things are great here. We’ve hit a few rough spots, but God is faithful to use them for good.

Pray for me, as I am planning to step up a bit more as the Lord leads me.
