Hi all–I just wanted to let you guys know that my great uncle Kalin has gone home to be with the Lord. His immediate family was with him, and he went peacefully. Please keep my family in your prayers again this week as funeral services will be held this Thursday and Friday.
Please especially lift up my Aunt Deb as she has lost her husband and her father in the same month. I cannot imagine what that is like, but my heart breaks for her.
My great uncle leaves behind a wife, two daughters and their families and a bunch of other relatives and friends. For most everyone, this is the second family funeral this month. I won’t be going home this time, but I do plan to spend some time at home at the end of June/beginning of July to be with my family.
In addition, please keep my dad in your prayers this week. He had an accident with a table saw on Saturday and had surgery to graft skin onto his hand last night. He will be fine, but it is really painful right now. Pray for comfort and functionality there.
