HANNA’S SPECIAL PROJECT:

BRINGING CHRISTMAS TO INDIA

November 26 – December 7, 2006

Dear Supporters:

For Christmas this year, I am working on a special project, and I need your help! From November 26 to December 7, I will be in India with several of my coworkers helping them bring Christmas to India. For Indians, Christmas falls on December 5th. My coworkers and I will be delivering backpacks full of supplies to nearly 300 orphans as well as buying cooking pots and rice for 70 leper colony families.

Over the years, I have heard many stories about what God is doing in India, and He has begun to break my heart for the situation there. When I received an invitation to be part of this trip, I knew almost immediately that God wanted me to go. However, this trip is not part of my normal job and is not included in the support I raise to work with AIM. I need to raise $2,000 for this trip.

As I prayed about how to do this, God laid it on my heart to ask those who would normally buy me Christmas presents to instead make a donation towards my trip. This has already raised several hundred dollars for me. Now, I would like to invite you to be a part of this as well. Please prayerfully consider whether you can help support this trip financially.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing in India!!

Blessings in Christ,

Hanna

  1. Hey Hanna… this sounds great! God’s work in Asia has a really special place in my heart, so I will definitely be praying for your trip. I support a missionary in India through Gospel for Asia, and now I get to support 2 missionaries in India! I hope that all the preparations (physically and mentally) go smoothly. Keep me updated…

    much love, Jill

  2. Hey! It is great to see what God is doing in your life. May you be able to bless the Children of India this Christmas. I pray that all goes well. Let me know how things go.

  3. Hanna….how exciting! I will definitely be praying for your trip there…India…there aren’t many other countries that have so much need and so much opposition to the gospel. I’m excited to hear how it goes!

  4. Thanks y’all. I appreciate the prayers and support. I’m really excited for the opportunity. God’s been breaking my heart for Asia more and more over the past couple of years. In England, I actually had a lot of opportunities to interact with Indian/Pakistani immigrants, and it’s really neat to actually have the chance to go into India.
