This email came from his wife this morning:

Hi,

This morning to assist Glen’s breathing he was intubated.  This was expected because the fluid in his body is putting a lot of pressure on his lungs and though he was breathing well he wasn’t expelling enough CO2.  He also began dialysis and they were able to remove 1 liter of fluid.  I’m sure both of these interventions made his feel a little more comfortable.  He’s received the therapy for his liver for a day and a half now so we should know in a few days if there is any improvement.  He’s sedated and comfortable.  The nursing staff is so good to him, making sure all of his needs are met.  He’s never smelled so good!  Like Johnsons Baby Powder and mint toothpaste.  He’s had many visitors and though he can’t communicate I know he hears us.

The prayers he needs right now are that his body will stay free from infection and fevers, that his body will respond positively to the therapeutic medicine for his liver and that his blood pressure remains stable.  I need prayers for rest and to be surrounded with bible believing folks that will help me keep the hope.

Thank you to all those prayer warriors out there pulling for the big guy.
